Polstein’s Home Center Prepares For First Major Winter Storm
In preparation for the winter blizzard of ’06, Polsteins shifts inventory to outfit its stores with winter product.
Brooklyn, NY February 10 – In order to better serve the community, Polsteins Home Center has pulled winter inventory from its major regional warehouses to better equip its customers for the season’s first major storm. A Brooklyn-based chain of retail home centers, Polsteins caters to its surrounding community especially in times of weather-related emergencies.
Its main store, located at 7615 13th Avenue in Brooklyn, services the Bay Ridge/Dyker Heights section as well as New York City and New Jersey counties. It is now fully equipped with all snow removal products, including electric and gas snowthrowers, snow shovels, snow brushes, and ice melt.
“Our customers count on us to be prepared during these times, and Polsteins always delivers,” says Justin Martinez, store manager of Polsteins. Justin continues, “With the sudden forecast change, we immediately moved our entire spring stock to make room for all of the snow products that we had already placed in storage.”
HomeandBeyond.com, Polstein’s online counterpart, has also geared up its warehouse for the storm to supply the entire Northeast region. It has extended the hours in its call center to accommodate customer inquiries and orders.
