Homeandbeyond.com, a leading home-shopping e-tailer, is looking for a detail-oriented, driven, analytical & quantitative thinker to join our merchandising team as an online product merchant (OPM). The OPM will be assigned to a specific home shopping category, in which he/she will manage site merchandising and product placement to drive gross merchandise sales, net revenue, and customer satisfaction. Specifically, the OPM will:
Manage all products within the assigned category, maintaining accurate, consumer-friendly data and product images
Cross-merchandise products to generate ‘tie-in’ sales
Conduct cost-profit analyses and survey competitor pricing to establish optimal price that will yield higher profit and greater sales volume
Coordinate with marketing & business development to drive sales
Conduct profitable online ad campaigns using search engine optimization skills
Analyze sales reports to determine better ways to drive the bottom line
Qualified candidates should have strong internet and spreadsheet skills along with a sharp business acumen. E-commerce experience a plus.
