At first sight it looks like someting sold at a State Fair but it is GREAT in performance and price. It came to my attention as it was very highly recommended (best buy etc) in Cook's Magazine which is very relible publication. Up to now I sharpen by outdoor and kitchen knives on an oil stone. This is just as effective and very much faster

Easy to use and puts a great edge on knives. It made my fish fillet knives sharper than when new! Only takes a minute to learn to use, and maintenance of knife edge is easy and very fast. I hope it lasts a long time. Only had it a month and have sharpened all my kitchen and outdoor knives. My wife immediately noticed the difference. I will give some for gifts in the future.

This thing works and it lasts.

I have used one of these to sharpen EVERYTHING with a blade on it. It does a REALLY good job even if you aren't an expert. Just follow the directions.
