I am using this as a temporary adhesive. I actually wanted the gooey stuff that is used to stick credit cards to paper, but discovered that I would need to buy the raw adhesive in bulk and buy an expensive hot glue dispenser
So far it is working well; but I would need to see how it removed after a long time period before I rated it 5 stars.
I have an unused door on the north side of my house, which leaks cold air into the master bedroom in spite of adjustments and weather stripping. Since it is not a means of egress, I decided to try Seal 'N Peel. It has reduced the problem to zero. I did not find the oder to be objectionable after about an hour. All in all, it seems a good solution.
Product very easy to apply using standard caulk gun. A little goes a long way. Apply BEFORE the wood window gets cold (may not adhere). Seal all cracks between window sashes and frame, including the morizongal joint of upper and lower sash. If you have window weights, be sure to seal well around the rope/chain and fill channel for same. Product will come off easily in the Spring; just grab hold of it with good needle nose pliers and gently pull away from the wood window. Product will not damage painted surfaces and comes off completely and cleanly. I have used this product for twelve years to seal all the original double sash windows in our 1834 stone farm house; it really works great. Suggest coverage of up to six (6) double sash windows from one (1) tube if you are careful. I always order more than I need; it will usually keep for use next year if caulk tube is tightly sealed (I use electrical wire connector over end of caulk tube)
