When paired with a universal AC Adapter (+ the batteries for backup) this fan makes a perfect cooling solution for computer equipment. I use it to keep my wireless router, dsl modem, and network switch cool all the time. I run it on low but on hot summer days have switched to high.
Does the job nicely! Best solution I've been able to find thus far.

Great when cool "air" is needed in a small space. It has two speeds which is also a plus. For all you mature women...also great for those hot flashes. Love not having to plug it in. It's very portable. I have indeed recommended this great little fan to several of my friends. I personally have five of them..one in each of the rooms I spend most of my time in!

This fan is excellent. It is quiet and the most powerful battery powered fan I've ever purchased. It runs forever on two D cells. I will probably buy a couple more.

One had little burrs on the plastic fan blade shield that had to be trimmed off to provide enough clearance for the blade to spin without nicking the shield and making a noise.
