I have several different brands and models of emergency lights. During a recent power outage which lasted a couple of hours, the Intermatic was the only one that stayed lit for the whole outage. I now have seven in my house and basement.

I bought 10 of these to put around our office for employees to use in case of a power failure. I will keep them for that reason. However, the light is not very bright, and you have to be in almost complete darkness to be able to use the flashlight. I wish I would have paid extra for an LED one.
